The football world's elite will gather at Cape Town's International Convention Centre for the draw, which will begin at 19:00 local time (17:00 GMT).
World number nine side England are among the eight seeded teams in pot one - alongside hosts South Africa and fellow top ten teams Spain, Brazil, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Argentina.
The rest of the draw sees teams split according to geography, with pot two comprising of teams from Asia (Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea), North, Central America and the Caribbean (Honduras, Mexico, USA) and Oceania (New Zealand).
Pot three features the remaining African and South American teams (Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria and Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay).
And finally, pot four features a number of potential stumbling blocks with the unseeded European teams (Denmark, France, Greece, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland) all included here.
Fifa's rules for the draw mean that other than European teams, no two sides from the same confederation will be allowed to play in the same group.
This means South Africa must be drawn alongside either Chile, Paraguay or Uruguay from pot three while Brazil and Argentina must play one of the African qualifiers in that pot (Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana or Nigeria).
