Prince Charles' former harpist has been found guilty of handling stolen goods but cleared of being involved in a series of burglaries with her ex-boyfriend.

Jemima Phillips, 28, had denied being involved in the raids with William Davies, of Cheltenham, but admitted one count of attempted fraud.

At Gloucester crown court yesterday she was convicted of handling stolen goods but cleared of the burglary charges while Davies, 41, was found guilty of the four burglaries.

Phillips played at the wedding of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall and the court heard she was already battling with a drugs addiction when appointed a royal harpist in 2004.

She said she only used a stolen building society card when her former boyfriend's associates threatened to go to the press about her addiction.

Phillips and Davies are due to be sentenced on December 22nd with the former released on bail yesterday afternoon as a pre-sentence report is prepared.ADNFCR-708-ID-19498846-ADNFCR
