The Three Lions were paired with USA, Algeria and Slovenia in one of the easiest sections, with only Capello's nation of birth Italy (Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia) regarded as having an easier task in the opening round.
If he is picked in the 23-man squad next year, the draw could mean David Beckham plays a number of his MLS counterparts in the group stage when England take on the United States.
Capello picked out the Americans as the major threat in Group C, given their experience in South African conditions from the Confederations Cup earlier this year, but also warned against complacency against Algeria and Slovenia.
'The team with more experience is the USA, they have played here,' the head coach explained.
'We played against USA and Slovenia home, we played well and we won but when we have to play here in June it will be different.
'The game against Algeria will be noisy, and Algeria is a very good team - they beat Egypt [in their final qualifier].
'When you play a World Cup every game is not easy.'
Capello admitted England's task could have been much more difficult, saying Brazil's task of seeing off Ivory Coast and Portugal to progress from Group G 'is not easy'.
Nevertheless, it seems the Italian is looking further ahead than the first round, adding: 'It is the World Cup. We have to win.'
England's opening game of next year's World Cup will be against USA in Rustenburg on Saturday June 12th, with Algeria and finally Slovenia rounding off their opening three fixtures.
