The four most recent British fatalities in Afghanistan will today return home in what is becoming a familiar tribute in the village of Wooton Bassett.
People will line the streets as coffins carrying Sergeant Simon Valentine, Lance Corporal James Fullarton, Fusilier Simon Annis and Fusilier Louis Carter are flown into RAF Lyneham.
A flypast will take place at 10:00 BST ahead of a private ceremony one hour later and their bodies being taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.
Sgt Valentine of Second Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers died in an explosion while on a routine foot patrol in Sangin, northern Helmand province, on August 15th.
Fusiliers Annis and Carter and L Cpl Fullarton died in a single incident the following day.
Their deaths took the UK death-toll in Afghanistan to 204.
