Pakistan village targeted in 'drone attack'

At least ten people were killed after a suspected US drone attack in northern Pakistan on Friday.

Local officials claim missiles were fired on the village of Darpa Kheil in North Waziristan causing serious damage.

Eyewitnesses claim the attack caused a huge explosion, with unmanned drones were seen flying over the area afterwards.

Darpa Kheil is the location of a large religious school set up by senior Taliban commander Jalaluddin Haqqani.

US drones are said to have attacked the complex in September last year, resulting in the death of 23 people.ADNFCR-708-ID-19324971-ADNFCR
