Hampshire plane crash wreckage to be recovered

The wreckage of a light aircraft which crashed in Hampshire killing two people during the weekend is due to be recovered later.

Investigations are continuing into why the twin-tailed plane crashed into a field in Tangley, near Andover, on Sunday.

The two victims of the crash are still to be named with police still in the process of informing their relatives.

The Air Accidents Investigation Board (AAIB) has now launched a full investigation and will remove the wreckage later on Monday.

Eyewitnesses report hearing a series of 'big bangs', before seeing plumes of smoke rising the crash site.
