The team could face a range of sanctions after deciding not to contest charges of race-fixing after it emerged driver Nelson Piquet Jr was asked to deliberately crash into a wall at last year's Singapore grand prix to benefit his team-mate Fernando Alonso.
Team principal Flavio Briatore and chief engineer Pat Symonds have already resigned over the controversy, while the team held its hands up to the incident in a brief statement last week.
Punishment for the team could range from a fine or a points deduction to expulsion from this year's championship or even the sport as a whole.
The FIA are expected to publish their decision, which could also deal with the individual cases surrounding Briatore and Symonds, this afternoon.
