The pair face charges of striking each other during the Guinness Premiership game at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday.
Stowers will also appear at a disciplinary meeting following his 'dangerous' tackle on Gloucester's Dave Lewis.
Both players will appear before the disciplinary panel on Monday.
The alleged incidents occurred during Irish's 40-10 win over Gloucester in their second game of the season.
