Turner-Hall out until 2010

Quins centre Jordan Turner-Hall out until 2010 with labral tear of left shoulder
Harlequins and England centre Jordan Turner-Hall is facing an injury layoff of up to four months after being told he needs surgery on his left shoulder.

The 21-year-old, who was expected to feature for England in the autumn internationals against Australia, Argentina and New Zealand, looks unlikely to return until the new year.

A scan on Turner-Hall's shoulder, which he injured against Saracens in the Guinness Premiership last weekend, showed a labral tear that requires surgery.

In a brief joint statement, Quins and England said: 'The surgery will take place next Monday September 28th.

'The Harlequins and England medical teams expect that Jordan will be unavailable for a period of up to three to four months.'

The news is a further blow to England head coach Martin Johnson plans for the autumn fixtures after already losing first-choice centre Riki Flutey to a shoulder injury this week.ADNFCR-708-ID-19377476-ADNFCR
