Geert Wilders, an MP for his own PVV (party for Freedom) in the Netherlands' house of representatives, was prevented from entering Britain back in February by the Home Office, which claimed he would spread hatred by showing an anti-Islamic film.
However, the ban was overturned on Tuesday and Mr Wilders declared shortly afterwards he would travelling to the UK at the end of the week.
The Dutch MP has originally been invited by Ukip peer Lord Pearson, who told journalists following the ban that Mr Wilders had 'a right to say what he is saying'.
Fitna, the film which Mr Wilders had wanted to show, opens with images of the Qur'an which is followed by footage of terrorist attacks around the world.
The film was still screened in the House of Commons this year despite Mr Wilders' enforced absence.
