Marge Simpson on cover of Playboy

Marge Simpson is to appear on the November cover of Playboy, the magazine has confirmed.

Marge will be the first cartoon character to grace the cover, which also marks the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons.

Playboy owner Hugh Hefner is said to be a huge Simpsons fan, 'appearing' on the show himself in the early 90s.

Hefner tweeted yesterday: 'There are 2 covers on November's Playboy: Victoria's Secret model Alina Puscau & Marge Simpson. True fans will want both.'

And later he said: 'The November Alina Puscau cover pictorial was shot by famous film director Brett Ratner. The Marge Simpson pics were shot by Homer.'

November's cover sees blue-haired Mrs Simpson posing on a chair in a true Playboy seductive manner.

A statement on the soft-porn magazine's site read: 'Yes, you read that right! Homer's better half will grace the cover of the special collector's edition of the November issue of Playboy.'
