Prince Charles and Camilla will spend 11 days in the county, visiting some 12 different cities, from November 2nd onwards.
Commenting on the royal visit, Canada's prime minister Stephen Harper said: 'The visit by their royal highnesses is a great honour for Canadians.
'It will allow all of us, particularly young people, an opportunity to learn more about the heritage and traditions of which we are all proud.'
The announcement of the visit by the Prince of Wales and his wife follows the earlier confirmation that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will travel to Canada next year.
The trip will be Camilla’s first official trip to the country.
