The film follows Perseus in his mission to rescue Princess Andromeda and was directed by Louis Leterrier, who was also at the helm for The Incredible Hulk.
Clash of the Titans is based on the 1981 film of the same name and looks set to be released in March 2010.
Travellers preparing for their luxury holidays to Tenerife may enjoy seeing the landscapes that were used on the film, which were picked after location manager Robin Higgs paid a visit to the island in October 2008.
The film magazine Empire recently predicted that the film will be 'considerably faster paced' than the original.
