After his history-making headlining show at Glastonbury 2008 the Run This Town rapper will take to the stage on the Isle of Wight on Friday June 11th next year, it has been announced.
The Strokes, whose debut album Is This It was recently voted the best of the decade, will headline the Saturday night of the festival, while others act on the line-up include popstar Pink, dance legends Orbital and rock veterans Blondie.
After announcing the promising 2010 line-up, festival promoter John Giddings commented: 'Ever since I first heard the first Strokes album I have wanted them for the Isle of Wight.
