Spurs 2-0 Sunderland

Tottenham Hotspur returned to the top four of the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Sunderland.

Robbie Keane gave his side a 12th minute lead as Spurs went into the break ahead.

However, Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes brought down Darren Bent to give the visitors a penalty, but Gomes, who perhaps should have been sent off, kept out Bent’s penalty to keep his side ahead.

Tom Huddlestone confirmed his team’s three points with a late goal, as Spurs returned to winning ways after two consecutive defeats.ADNFCR-708-ID-19450836-ADNFCR
