Rihanna says naked pictures were 'hot'

Singer Rihanna has said the naked photographs of her leaked earlier this year were both 'hot' and the 'worst thing that could possibly ever happen'.

Seven leaked photos appeared online earlier this year, allegedly showing the Umbrella singer, 21, in a series of raunchy poses, though her face was only clearly visible in two, in which she was fully-clothed.

Speaking to US radio station Hot 97, Rihanna confirmed the pictures had originally been taken for an ex-boyfriend and their eventual publication online in May was 'humiliating'.

'I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that and then, when that came out, I thought, 'oh great, so now there's nothing they don't know about me and my private life',' the Russian Roulette star said.

'It was humiliating and it was embarrassing - especially my mom having to see that. It was two days before Mother's Day, so I was nervous.

'I sent her flowers first before I called and then she texted me - when the world is against me she's always there supporting.'

However, Rihanna - real name Robyn Fenty - defended the original taking of the photographs, describing them as 'hot'.

'If you don't send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him,' she added.

The leak of the photographs came after Rihanna's February assault by then boyfriend Chris Brown, with the latter sentenced to five years' probation for the attack in August.
