Two men have been arrested in connection with Britain's largest-ever jewellery heist.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan police told inthenews.co.uk the men had been arrested on Wednesday as part of the investigation into the robbery at Graff Jewellers on August 6th.
£40 million worth of jewellery is believed to have been stolen in the raid, the largest in British history.
Police have released no other details apart from the date of the arrests due to 'operational reasons'.
The men are still being held in custody.
Police have offered a £1 million reward for any information relating to the robbery as well as releasing CCTV footage of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the raid.
