Police investigating the robbery of £40 million-worth of jewellery in central London have recovered a loaded firearm.
A statement from the Metropolitan police on Thursday night provided more information about the theft of 43 items from Graff Jewellers last week.
Officers have appealed for information about two vehicles believed to have been used by the main suspects to flee the scene.
Police have released CCTV of two men they want to speak to in relation to the robbery last Thursday. The images show the men entering the jewellers dressed smartly in suits.
The pair are reported to have threatened staff during the robbery before making off in a series of vehicles, while firing warning shots.
The Met statement said officers were looking for a silver B-class Mercedes and a blue Volkswagen Sharan.
The registration plates used on the vehicles, however, are thought to have been cloned.
Anyone with any information relating to the incident is asked to contact police on 020 8247 4804 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
