Aston Villa footballer Luke Young has paid tribute to his younger brother who was found dead in the island of Crete after a night out.
The body of Andre Young, 17, was found in Malia on Wednesday morning.
The Foreign Office confirmed the teenager from Saffron Walden, Essex, had been reported missing on Monday.
Paying tribute to his brother, Young said: 'He was a tremendous and talented person and a diligent student and this is such a waste of a promising life.'
The Villa player also appealed for anyone with any information relating to his brother's death to come forward.
'He went missing on the evening of Monday August 10th and we would be extremely grateful if anybody with any information of his whereabouts during that fateful evening could come forward to assist with investigations.'
The Foreign Office said it was continuing to provide consular assistance to the Young family.
